All Things Home is thrilled to announce that we are officially a national award-winning website!
At the Canadian Online Publishing Awards (COPAs) held Feb. 9, All Things Home captured the Silver award for Best B2C Website in the Consumer category. It was our first time entering.
The COPAs is a national awards program now in its 14th year. This year, the awards attracted entries from 72 publishers across the country, including CBC North, Radio-Canada, Rogers Media and several universities.
“This year the competition reached new levels,” awards producer Martin Seto says in an announcement on the awards website, with the degree of separation between winners and finalists often less than one percentage point.
Entries were judged by a national panel of professionals with expertise in content, creative, digital, web, tech marketing, media and publishing.
“We knew we had a fantastic site, but it’s great to have it validated by our publishing peers,” says All Things Home co-founder Anita Murray.
Adds co-founder Patrick Langston, “Winning a national award is a real honour and tells us we are doing things right for both our visitors and our business partners.”
Langston’s in-depth article on how to protect you home against climate change was also a finalist for Best Service Article.
