A host of initiatives are slated to make eQ Homes’ Greystone Village a sustainable community in Old Ottawa East. The development will seek LEED-ND certification, emphasizing homes that are at least Energy Star-rated and incorporating bike paths, green spaces and integrated transit stops. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, an industry-recognized rating system for green homes and other buildings.
