The long-awaited redevelopment of the former Canadian Forces Base Rockcliffe began just before Christmas with the launch of the first phase of Wateridge Village.
That first phase of 214 lots is small given the eventual scope of the community – some 9,500 residents in about 5,300 homes and condos over the next 15 to 20 years – but it’s meant to gauge interest, of which there has been a fair bit.
