Bridlewood Trails is a revival of an earlier Claridge Homes project. In this iteration, Claridge is building 72 Zen urban flats housed in six blocks as well as two-storey townhomes. All the models are townhomes, so no urban flats models to see, but the towns give an indication of the workmanship and potential features and finishes that Claridge offers in the flats.
Here are the three model homes you’ll see when you visit Bridlewood Trails.
The Cypress is a three-bedroom townhome with 2.5 baths and 1,985 square feet. It comes as either an interior or an end unit (the model is an end unit).
The main floor features both a dining room and a breakfast nook, with the kitchen open to the living room, although a half wall hides the island. Done in dark neutrals, there is a rich, timeless look to the décor.
Upstairs there is room for the three bedrooms, a laundry closet and both a walk-in closet and ensuite with double sinks in the master, which also boasts a clerestory window for extra natural light while maximizing privacy and wall space.
The finished basement rec room with fireplace adds another 335 square feet to the home.
The Gregoire townhome comes as either an interior or an end unit (the model is an interior), with three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 2,160 square feet.
A sunken foyer area includes a generous closet, the powder room and a storage space before opening up to the open-concept main floor, where you’ll find the kitchen, living room and dining room.
The staircase is split, with the one to the second floor near the foyer and the one to the basement along the back of the living room, fronting a large picture window (which helps bring plenty of natural light to the basement).
The laundry room is upstairs with the bedrooms and the master suite includes a double vanity and walk-in shower.
Downstairs, the basement boasts a finished space of 455 square feet and a fireplace.
The Oliver is a four-bedroom townhome with 2.5 baths and 2,210 square feet. It comes as either an interior or an end unit (the model is an interior).
On the main floor, a combined laundry room/mud room makes for handy day-to-day access and function without messing up the main foyer. It also features a somewhat separated dining area that in the model is done as a sitting area.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms with the master suite laid out to create a feeling of retreating into the privacy of the bedroom. While downstairs, the finished rec room with fireplace adds 395 square feet to the home.
