Cardel, Tartan and Tamarack are all building at EdenWylde in Stittsville, a community that will eventually consist of more than 500 townhomes, semi-detached & single bungalows and two-storey single-family homes. 
Cardel has just opened three models, two single-family homes and a townhome, Tartan has two single-family models, and Tamarack has seven townhome and bungalow models.
Here’s what you’ll see if you check out the EdenWylde model homes.
This two-storey single has been built to showcase Tartan’s included features and finishes (meaning no upgrades). The home sits on a 38-foot lot and comes with 2,600 square feet.
There are four bedrooms with an option for a fifth bedroom in the basement, 2.5 baths (unless you add the optional Jack-and-Jill bathroom upstairs or the three-piece bath in the basement).
The layout is open concept with a main-floor office, generous kitchen and great room that includes a fireplace, separate dining room and roomy mud room.
The three-bedroom Capella is a 2,018-square-foot single-family home with three or four bedrooms.
The main floor includes an open-concept kitchen/great room/dining room. There’s a walk-in pantry in the model home’s white kitchen (an optional prep kitchen is also available), a gas fireplace in the great room with its retro accents, and patio doors off the dining area.
Upstairs, the loft can be converted to a fourth bedroom. The basement also has an optional bedroom along with optional recreation room and roughed-in bathroom.
The Alder is a two-storey townhome that lives like a single. At 2,237 square feet with three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, the open-concept home offers lots of possibilities. Options for the second floor include one layout with a loft, a second with an alternate master layout and a third that swaps the front and rear bedrooms and adds a sitting area in the master.
There’s also a finished basement and separate dining and eating nook areas.
The Auden is a two-storey single with 1,964 square feet. It comes with three or four bedrooms (the model has four), Decorated in earth tones, it has an open-concept layout and handy mudroom with a walk-through to the kitchen pantry and kitchen beyond.
The floor-to-ceiling tile surround on the fireplace adds an elegant focal point. It’s done in a herringbone pattern that’s repeated in the kitchen. In other rooms, an accent wall in wallpaper adds further focal points and personality.
The Paloma is another two-storey single, this time with 2,233 square feet. It’s done with a heavy emphasis on black accents for a classy, timeless look, including a mix of black cabinetry in the kitchen and black appliances.
It has an open-concept kitchen/eating nook and family room and a separate dining room. Upstairs there are three bedrooms plus a bonus room that could be a fourth bedroom. The laundry room is also upstairs and includes the linen closet, a feature Cardel has begun including in its laundry rooms for convenience.
The two-bedroom, 1,395-square-foot Sage bungalow includes a street-facing breakfast area off the open-concept kitchen, a large, bright dining/living area and a walk-in closet in the master bedroom. There’s also a powder room on the main floor, and the home is Energy Star-equipped and boasts an oversized garage as well as a covered front porch.
The lower level has a second bedroom with a bathroom and walk-in closet.
The 1,395-square-foot Drake bungalow has two bedrooms, a study, 2.5 baths and an oversized garage and covered front porch. The street-facing study is off the main entrance and the L-shaped kitchen is open to the dining/living room.
There’s a second bedroom with a walk-in closet and bathroom on the lower level.
Tamarack’s three-bedroom Energy Star-supplied townhome has 1,868 square feet. Its open-concept main floor includes a kitchen open to the living room and dining room, with a backyard deck off the dining area.
Upstairs, the master bedroom offers privacy thanks to the hallway separating it from the other two bedrooms.
The basement has a 374-square-foot finished family room.
Tamarack’s townhome lineup at EdenWylde includes the 2,125-square-foot, three-bedroom Chelsea with an oversized garage and covered porch.
The Chelsea’s main floor features an open-concept kitchen/living room/dining area, with a pantry in the kitchen and a fireplace with a floor-to-ceiling surround in the model’s coastal themed living room.
On the second floor, the master bedroom has two walk-in closets, and both secondary bedrooms have a walk-in closet. The laundry room is also on the second floor, and the basement includes a finished family room.
The Energy Star-supplied Hudson has an oversized garage, covered porch, three bedrooms and 2,165 square feet.

The second-storey, reached by an open-to-below staircase, has a master bedroom with a large, four-piece ensuite and walk-in closet along with two other bedrooms, one with its own walk-in closet, and a laundry room.
The basement includes a finished, 455-square-foot family room and a storage area.
The Cambridge model home is an end-unit town with 2,155 square feet, three bedrooms and an oversized garage.
The open-concept main floor features a kitchen with a pantry, a living room and a dining area with a patio door leading to the backyard deck.
On the second storey there’s the laundry room, the master bedroom with a large walk-in closet and four-piece ensuite, and two more bedrooms as well as the main bathroom.
