River’s Edge model homes

River’s Edge is a development of singles, bungalows, semis, and towns, from Claridge Homes’ new Landmark Series, in Riverside South.

There are four single-family home models and six townhomes models, although photos are not yet available for the townhomes. Here’s a look at the River’s Edge model homes.

Bayview

River's Edge model homes

The Bayview is a two-storey single on a 37-foot lot. The home is 2,240 sq. ft. and comes with four bedrooms and 2.5 baths.

The main floor separates the informal and formal living, with the living room and dining room on one side and the family room and U-shaped kitchen on the other. There’s a fireplace in the family room.

Upstairs, the secondary bedrooms are separated from the master suite, which somes with a five-piece ensuite. There’s also 660 sq. ft. of finished basement space.

Cumberland

This single-family two-storey has 2,590 sq. ft., four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and sits on a 37-foot lot.

It offers plenty of room for the whole family with formal and informal space on the main floor. There’s both a living and dining room near the front of the home and a family room and the kitchen along the back. A double-sided fireplace divides the living room and family room.

Upstairs, a loft offers another space for gathering, relaxing or working from home, while the 765 square feet of finished basement space makes for a great rec room.

Egan

The Egan is a two-storey single on a 45-foot lot. It comes with four bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 2,485 sq. ft.

The foyer boasts a walk-in closet and circular staircase before opening to the dining room, great room and oversized kitchen. A squared archway acts as a kind of butler’s pantry between the kitchen and dining room.

Upstairs, the staircase is open to below and the master suite (with cathedral ceiling) spans the front of the home, separated from the secondary bedrooms.

The finished basement space is 630 sq. ft.

Kawartha

The Kawartha is a move-up family single on a 45-foot lot. It features 2,890 square feet, four bedrooms and 3.5 baths.

The main floor divides formal and informal living, with the dining room and living room at the front and the family room and kitchen stretched along the rear. A roomy mudroom off the garage makes for easy family access in and out.

Upstairs, two of the secondary bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom while the remaining bedroom includes double closets and an ensuite. The master, meanwhile, has a cathedral ceiling and in the ensuite there are his and hers vanities and a separate shower and tub.

A finished basement rec room that’s 680 square feet adds plenty more family space.

Brazeau

The Brazeau is a three-bedroom townhome with 2,065 sq. ft. plus 390 in the basement.

The Brazeau offers more separation between the dining room and the kitchen than is often seen in townhomes, but the main floor is still fairly open concept. The galley-style kitchen makes efficient use of the space, adding a wall pantry to the breakfast nook and a half wall for an island feel.

Cypress

The Cypress is an end unit with three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 1,985 sq. ft.

The mostly open-concept main floor includes both a breakfast nook and a dining room. Upstairs, there’s a laundry closet in the hallway and the master is a generous suite with his and hers sinks and walk-in shower.

Downstairs, the finished basement is 335 sq. ft. and includes a corner gas fireplace.

Gregoire

The Gregoire townhome comes as either an interior or an end unit, with three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 2,160 square feet.

A sunken foyer area includes a generous closet, the powder room and a storage space before opening up to the open-concept main floor, where you’ll find the kitchen, living room and dining room.

The staircase is split, with the one to the second floor near the foyer and the one to the basement along the back of the living room, fronting a large picture window (which helps bring plenty of natural light to the basement).

The laundry room is upstairs with the bedrooms and the master suite includes a double vanity and walk-in shower.

Downstairs, the basement boasts a finished space of 455 square feet and a fireplace.

Oliver

The Oliver is one of Claridge’s mid-sized towns, with four bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 2,210 sq. ft. The finished basement space is 395 sq. ft. and includes a gas fireplace.

The main floor has an open-concept kitchen and great room, plus a separate dining room. There’s also a combined mudroom and laundry room.

Whitney

The Whitney is a three-bedroom townhome with 2.5 bathrooms and 1,825 sq. ft. It also includes 345 sq. ft. of finished basement space.

The main floor is open concept, with a generous kitchen island perfect for entertaining and both a kitchen eating area and a dining room. It also includes a gas fireplace.

Touring the River’s Edge model homes

The sales centres and models are open 1-8 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and noon-5 p.m. on weekends (closed Thursday and Friday). Check our River’s Edge development profile for more information.
