What’s in the community
Just east of downtown, Lowertown is the oldest part of the city. It includes the popular ByWard Market and is right next to the Rideau Centre. A popular spot for young adults to live, it nonetheless has a mix of residents. There is also a good mix of services, grocery stores, restaurants, green spaces, schools and is close to both the Ottawa and Rideau rivers.
