If you’ve been wondering about the cost and benefits of installing solar panels on your home, check out a seminar this weekend by RND Construction and Switch Energy.
The seminar is part of a series of information sessions meant to educate homeowners on various aspects of home construction and home improvement, particularly related to energy efficiency and sustainability. RND president Roy Nandram is committed to sustainable building (it’s even part of his company tagline) and feels strongly about giving back through teaching others.
RND is hosting the sessions on installing solar panels and has invited Switch in to present at the first one after the solar promoter hooked up panels on the roof of RND’s showroom.
The seminar is free, but registration is required.
What to expect?
“We will be going over how the homeowner can benefit from solar electricity being generated locally and consumed locally using net metering,” says Chris Meechan of Switch Energy in a video promoting the event.
Refreshments will be served and questions are encouraged.
